In Memorium

Leon 'Lee' Cummings, 93 of Southborough went home to the Lord on Friday, March 11, 2015.  He died at home after a period of declining health.  He was the husband of Mattie (Karnes) Cummings.  Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to 1st Community Church 105 Southville Road, Southborough,  MA  01772. He was always respectful, an attentive listener, an incisive thinker and positive contributor to the conversation.  He was fair in his judgments and thoughtful in his expression.  He helped greatly in laying the foundation of the BoSox Club on which we now stand.  Until his final days, Lee came to every BoSox Club luncheon.  He would never fail to say "hi" as he passed by, shuffling his feet to get to his table and would listen intently to every word that any Red Sox player had to say.  Our 10th President will be missed for his extreme graciousness and caring for the home town team.  Our condolences to his family.

Your President,                                                                                                                                                                                                                Steve Hollingsworth
