BoSox Club Family Day at Fenway Park!

On July 29th, hundreds of excited and loyal Red Sox fans, family and friends gathered - as guests of the Red Sox and the BoSox Club -  at the ballpark for the annual Family  Day festivities.  The weather was perfect as "youngsters" gathered in the sunshine behind the Red Sox dugout for the annual Meet and Greet Q & A session.

WBZ Sports guy and longtime friend of the BoSox Club, Dan Roche,  was emcee and brought his usual high energy and sense of humor to the proceedings. Thanks, Dan.  Relief pitcher and ground ball inducing specialist, Burke Badenhop was lead off player  who answered a series of questions from Dan and the many young fans in attendance.  He was followed by lefty specialist and 2013 BoSox Club Player of the Year, Craig Breslow, a Connecticut native.  Another fan favorite, making his second BoSox appearance of this season was the swift, sure-handed Center Fielder, Jackie Bradley, Junior.

The meet and greet was wrapped up with a raffle of Red Sox autographed baseballs. Attendees then went under the grandstand for complimentary food and beverage followed immediately by watching Red Sox and Jays players take batting practice under sunny skies .  A number of baseballs ended up in our guests hands...making an already fun day even more memorable.

The BoSox Club is very grateful to the Red Sox for providing the hundreds of tickets each year to make the day possible. During special ceremonies right before game time, the Club made a substantial contribution to the Red Sox Foundation and was honored for our annual contributions to the community.
